character info
► surface-level cool and aloof, lonesome but not lonely, blunt, a scholar and a huge nerd, strong believer in the freedom of knowledge, always down to fight the status quo
► her home village did not like things like women having power by their own means so when they found her practicing magic, they first used stolen fae artifacts to steal her true name, and when she could still use magic, they tried to kill her and she fled in to the woods. after a knight came after her and tried to kill her, taking her eye and forcing her to kill him to keep herself safe, she did magic so hard she jamjarred herself into the Universeity, a school between dimensions run by gods and attended by mortals from all sorts of worlds
► despite a rule forbidding people to learn disciplines impossible in their home worlds, witch joined a faction of students sharing knowledge and made herself a magitech bionic eye and robotic crow familiar
► despite an incurable case of resting bitchface and generally not caring how she's perceived, she's a big softie; she wants to learn and share knowledge, gets genuinely invested in people's interests, and has a strong moral core. she's not exactly a bastion of emotional support but she does take care of people; she's more like the babysitter friend than the mom friend
preferences & prompts
► because witch's verse already involves cross-universal travel and interaction across genres, it is super easy to do basically whatever with her setting-wise. an incomplete list of things i am up to do with her: straight fantasy, where she's doing her thing being a witch in the woods, maybe a post-knight-fight pre-universeity canonpoint for her; universeity setting; post-universeity, having been thrown back into her world, so she's a cyborg lite in a regular fantasy world; post-universeity, in any other world
► love playing grumpy + cheery with her; even though she's a grump in the day-to-day she gets very excited about other people's excitement and will Protecc
► any gender is fine for ships!

character info
► rather than resting bitchface rue has something closer to resting existential melancholy face with a side of annoyance towards the world at large, which is a decent summation of her personality
► rue was sculpted out of clay by a paranoid asshole alchemist so he'd have an assistant, companion, and servant; rue spent thousands of years being treated like a thing instead of a person, and being too locked away to consider any alternatives, and then her master's life-extension got sabotaged and he died
► five years later, enter present-day Las Sombras, which is just Las Vegas but up and to the left a little and also full of werewolves. wizards, fae, vampires, etc. all run the scenes and mortals have no clue. Rue, in a shitty run-down apartment, continues her late master's alchemical studies and runs a business selling her crafts and components
► Rue does not know how to be a person, and is largely figuring it out as she goes, but is primarily interested in being an alchemist, and also a good pet rat owner
► quiet, when she does speak it's usually something blunt to the point of rudeness, tolerant of a whole lot of bullshit because the bar has been set real high, instinct is to please and to fix problems
► still working through a lot of complicated feelings about her master, who did show her some kindness and was the closest thing to family she can comprehend, but also he made and kept her as a slave how fucked up is that????
► likes alchemy and her rats and not a whole lot else
preferences & prompts
► the very basic conceit of rue's verse is "las vegas, kind of, but there's magic and, like, werewolves," and i am willing to stretch "but there's magic" as far as it needs to go. really i am willing to stretch "las vegas" pretty far too. there's a lot of potential for worldbuilding if that's what you're into!
► rue is wrapped up in all sorts of weird shit with weird people by association or otherwise so it's not actually difficult to justify her involvement in all sorts of shenanigans, despite that she generally just wants to be left alone
► open to slice of life stuff with her if there's assumed cr; i don't know if i could sustain slice of life long-term but i am willing to try
► my primary interest with rue is getting her all up in other people's shit and entangled in the various complicated states of supernatural factions and making their problems her problems
► my other primary interest with rue is letting her have nice things for once. please give her a friend
► would love to play her off of other immortals/long-lived beings
► any gender is fine for ships!

character info
► soft, kind, sweet, and gentle; she's out here wearing homespun dresses and befriending animals and crying because she saw a squirrel that was just too cute
► really i just cannot emphasize enough how much bryony is the jrpg martyr complex will probably die in the first act to fuel the protag's manpain archetype
► she's also capable of hardening magic light into pieces of armor so strong that she functions as the main party tank so she isn't going to die because the bad guys don't have a big enough gun
► absolutely loathes violence and death, but kills in self-defense with relative frequency. it's awful! she hates it! she's deeply affected by each life she takes and mourns them all deeply even though they're evil
► cries all the time. over everything. constantly. she's SO weepy. it's just this all the time
► her world is best described as "primordial magic soup," with magic energy thrumming through all of it and its beings. humans, rather than being a default race, are an exception, and are the only beings who can't utilize and cast the magic woven in the very fiber of the world they live in. fae like bryony are a certain sort of exception, too, being largely isolated to their woods and communicating with outside society little, if at all
► but then her best friend goes ahead and becomes the chosen one and has to save the world from a horrific cataclysm heralded by magical corruption infecting the world, and when he's like "i gotta go do this alone" she's like "who SAYS" and they go on an adventure together
preferences & prompts
► honestly i am still sort of figuring out how i want to play bryony so i'm down for most things with her, especially meme threads
► fae culture is vastly different from that of most of the outside world so any situation where she has to adapt to that, especially in a jamjar setting, would be funny. please help her
► grumpy + cheery!!!!!! bryony is perfect for this dynamic and it's one of my favorites, please give her a grump to befriend or perhaps even kiss if you're into shipping
► any gender is fine for shipping!
► in general as i figure out playing bryony better i'm mostly interested in cr that at least leans positive, even if it needs a little growth to get there. despite that i'm also interested in having her anti-violence super-idealistic worldview challenged!!

character info
► loud, amiable, brash, crass, boisterous, sisterly, a bit of a bully
► su fei was originally a fire emblem OC from an original continent playing with the series's tropes, but if you're not familiar, it doesn't actually matter, because the thing got away from me and has become something of a larger project lmfao. still, if you're familiar with the series + its general tropes it's a decent starting point!
► su fei went off to war when a revolution effort rose up against the empire that was now, after many transgressions, coming (indirectly) for her family, and was very [shocked pikachu face] when war turned out to be a fucking nightmare
► most of her friends died, she very nearly died taking a hit for her then-girlfriend near the final battle, and ended up losing her leg as a result. in the aftermath she was given a flying qilin that was previously empire property, which went from warhorse to service animal over the years, and these days su fei and lairen deliver the mail across the continent
► su fei's pretty chill all in all but has done a phenomenally awful job working through her own grief and trauma, and has a lot of self loathing and fear of her own capacity for violence and anger. she's a very kind person but doesn't see herself as such, or even really a good person; she's someone who's trying to choose to be kind, but her instincts always go back to instinctual protective anger and defense
► "do no harm but take no shit;" su fei does not want to fight you but will absolutely make you regret it if you insist on it
► she's honestly not angry very often, but she does get very intense, and also very solidly determined to do what she wants, so she is a force of nature and frequently intimidating
► really though su fei just wants to take care of people and deliver the mail
► her world does have magic users and nonhuman species! su fei is neither of these
preferences & prompts
► su fei's verse has a LOT of worldbuilding and detail that, uh, isn't organized or recorded anywhere, LOL, as she's from kind of a bigger project; as such, it's waaay easier for me to just jamjar her
► for ships su fei is f/f only!
► su fei HATES royalty and nobility and the whole damn system and everyone who's a part of it. this is not me saying i am not up for playing off those types, there is some REALLY good potential for deep conflict there, but i am putting it out there that there is absolutely no coming around for her, you're never going to get her to be completely open around or trusting of nobility. on THAT note i'm ALL IN for circumstances that force them to work together and get along
► one of my favorite things to play with su fei is her being the big sister friend and taking care of people she's adopted while also bullying them relentlessly
► other quality su fei content potential is actually addressing and working through trauma instead of flying away from and ignoring it. would love to play off characters with similar issues getting to work through them together in a mutually supportive way?
► su fei's really flexible all in all; i love playing her going on adventures and doing action and combat (she can still fight!), but i also love her getting to have downtime and just be chill and build cr!

character info
► no manners, maybe fewer morals than that, grubby feral chaos child who expresses all of her horrid behaviors in detached and passive ways because when she gets overly emotional, things explode
► likes adventuring, treasure hunting, and exploration just for its sake; would be a dedicated urban explorer if she weren't a steampunk pirate. likes to collect pretty-looking junk but mostly loves just the act of finding it
► has two powers: passive detection of magic and tracking of certain types of magic items, and the completely uncontrolled ability to blow shit up with her mind. it triggers when she's emotional; most of the time it manifests in relatively small ways: an apple, fork, or button in line of sight might burst apart if she's angry or stressed, or even if she gets too excited. the greatest explosion she's ever caused was her own arm. the more "common" extreme instances have been vases. these powers will eventually kill her, and are already taking a physical affect: her stamina only comes in short bursts and she needs to take frequent rests.
► grew up as the heiress to a throne, wanted nothing to do with royal life; used her power and everyone's fear of it to terrorize her family and staff until her parents arranged for her younger sister to try to kill her.
► a group of pirates took her in, intending to use her for her magic tracking powers and ending up adopting her; she's been traveling in their flying airship doing crime and piracy and learning to stab things with swords ever since.
► a highly skilled mechanic, especially for her age; has trial-by-fire learned by modifying and tinkering with her own arm.
preferences & prompts
► noa and her ship slot very neatly into any steampunk-adjacent verse, and hers has enough magic to excuse the presence of anybody else's. her story's worldbuilding is honestly a pretty shaky wip so i don't have a lot of hard and fast rules for it! is worldbuilding your thing?? shit let's do it!!
► due to generally being a mean little brat with little social interest or grace, noa works best with some assumed CR. i am open to jamjars but only with assumed cr from the start!
► that said noa is real quick to attach herself to people she thinks she "matches;" other people with prostheses, similar scars, sword fighters. she likes other quiet people or anyone else driven by adventure.
► because noa plays best with chunks of pre-planning i prefer plotting out more involved stuff than one-off memes but i am open to receiving more casual ideas!
► i'd love to play friendships with noa, who is not good at friendship but ferociously loyal once she figures it out: adventure pals, bonding over shared interests, sparring buddies, people humoring this weird lost child
► other pirates are, of course, the obvious character profession to play off. for longer-term things, she'd be interesting to play off of other disgraced royalty?

character info
► here's a tag i wrote with her once, the point of which was literally just "hey nice to meet you i was wondering how you know my best friend because he's usually an emotionally constipated wreck but he's so comfortable around you it's cute." she talks like this 100% of the time
► she thinks she's a magical girl protagonist despite being from ye olde magical europe or whatever and she's determined to make it everyone's problem
► she is not taking constructive criticism at this or any time thank you
► set off on a quest to find her missing mother, who disappeared immediately after the departure of a cardinal of the church ruling the kingdom; his presence in her backwater border village was kind of a big deal, so he's the closest thing to a hint she has
► lulu doesn't know this but her mother bears a curse that affects people's memories of her. as such, lulu struggles to remember details about her mother, even her face and name, and, as such, lulu's own last name. she thinks she's just got dumb bitch amnesia disease, and is deeply anxious about forgetting or being forgotten, which is a big part of why she acts out so outrageously. she's so deeply dedicated to her shitty chuuni persona though that she manages to spend like her entire journey up until actually finding the church cardinal with her adventuring party completely oblivious to the fact that she even has a backstory; they just think she's here for a good time
► she has magical powers from a deity and no idea about it, never mind how to USE them, and their primary purpose is conjuring wind magic to billow her cape dramatically behind her regardless of circumstance or setting
preferences & prompts
► lulu slots very easily into basically any jrpg-adjacent verse, and vice versa. i'm also willing to tone the world down to more traditional fantasy, but she is going to be equally as ridiculous regardless. she's sort of a dissonance even in her own home verse
► as such i have a pretty strong preference for keeping her in her fantasy verses but i'm willing to consider jamjars?
► lulu is not very easy to sustain for long periods of time so i'm mostly interested in memes and other one-offs for her!! if we find that we jive i would be up to consider a longer-term psl but i'm probably not willing to commit to anything right off the bat
► ideal dynamics to play her off of include: people who think she's actually cool, for some reason; people who do not think she's cool, and are exhausted by her shenanigans, and are stuck with her regardless; this dynamic
some things i like in general
► grumpy + cheery
► bodyguard/protector + protected/knight + princess
► characters who are bad at friendship learning to be less bad at friendship, whether it's one emotionally constipated asshole + someone more patient and put together, or two emotionally nonfunctional dipshits slowly going "oh. that's what this is. ah, fuck"
► goofy things
► mentors + apprentices (not shippy, though)
► friendship forged in adversity
► working through similar issues together with mutual support
► hurt/comfort
► tending each other's injuries
► jamjar settings in general: two fish out of water trying to adapt together, one person more familiar with the genre helping another through, all kinds of things
► enemies to friends (with optional to lovers)
► fantastical settings & situations—not strictly traditional fantasy as a genre, but just things in general that couldn't happen in the real world
► but also traditional fantasy
► Ye Olde characters being dropped into modern or scifi situations and having to figure out, like, what a tv is
stuff i'm not wild about
► smut
► power dynamics
► survival settings
► age gaps in ships
► people just being needless dicks to each other or cruel all the time (this doesn't apply to rude sassy banter)
► stagnant cr
