(no subject)

Noa runaway princess-turned-pirate with a sick metal arm, socially-maladjusted mechanic on a flying ship
character info
  • has the power to make things in line of sight explode but no control over it; it triggers infrequently with emotional reactions
  • as such, has to maintain being chill and quiet and detached so she doesn't do things like blow up her own limbs again
  • doesn't like small talk, doesn't like people more often than not but doesn't dislike them either
  • loves adventuring; grand scale exploring, or even just the thrill of climbing around and digging in new places--would be really into urban exploration if she weren't a steampunk pirate
  • quiet and tactless; doesn't speak often but most of what she says is rude
  • fantasy chronically ill—tires out easily, good at very short bursts of speedy energy
  • member of a pirate crew that adopted her after she fixed up the quartermaster's mechanical prostheses unprompted. they Do Crimes and therefore so does she; she knows how to sword fight, takes very little issue with stealing and general mayhem, and the like
prefs & prompts
  • AUs— her + her ship can slot easily enough into any steampunk-adjacent verse, really, and her world has magic enough to make similar fantastical sorts fit into her world
  • noa is the one character for whom jamjars are not my first choice but i'm willing to make it work if there's assumed cr
  • assumed cr in general is good for her, due to a general lack of social interest or grace
  • she's bad at driving conversation (so slice of life is harder) but good at driving adventure: if there's something to do or explore, or anything new to even look at, noa immediately gets all up in it
  • likes other quiet people, attaches herself in general to anyone she sees as like her—tactlessly gets excited about other people's prostheses or burn scars because she likes to "match"
  • love playing her bonding over shared interests (hers, besides matching, are mostly mechanics and friendly sparring). if we're in it for the long haul it might be interesting to play her off other disgraced royalty??
Lucille/Lulu chuuni theater kid in a world that technically has neither; everyone else is living in a jrpg but she's living in a magical girl anime and she thinks she's the protagonist
